Each year we try and find a Local but relatively unheard of charity to raise funds for. 　This year we selected the Bolton Mountain Rescue team.  The Bolton MRT work alongside the Emergency Services within Greater Manchester as well as rescuing people from mountainous areas.  They help with Search & Rescue of lost people on hills and countryside, help with major emergencies like plane crashes and gas explosions.

We are happy to announce that £700 was raised for the Bolton MRT by this years carnival.

In 2010 we raised £800 for the ASGMA (Autistic Society for the Greater Manchester Area.
