Welcome to the New Flixton Urmston Davyhulme Carnival website.

The Flixton Urmston Davyhulme Carnival restarted in 2006. 　After a break of seven long years, the event itself was re-instated, in the current format, on Saturday 1st September 2007.

Our committee is quite small, but all together we have over 100 years experience of being involved in the Carnival circuits.

The Carnival is only one of the things that the committee do. 　All year round we do various fundraising events I.E. Fun days, Programme selling, Pub crawls, Urmston Bonfire Night, etc. We also visit other local carnivals to promote ours and help them fund raise.

The charities we raise money for are all local to the Trafford area of Manchester. 　Two of our charities are: Bolton Mountain Rescue (they cover Trafford) and Autistic Society for the Greater Manchester Area (ASGMA).

What we offer the chosen charity is Free Publicity in our Carnival Programme and Money we raise from our Parade on Carnival Day.
